P r o f i l e
Angela James Angela was born in Stoke on Trent; where she qualified as a Legal Secretary after finishing school, and then went on to study Law and Business at College. After which she studied Law at the University of Derby. She graduated with an LLB (Hons) and then went on to the College of Law at Birmingham, where she studied the LPC (Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice) which provided her with a thorough grounding in legal practice, business accounts and tax. |
Whilst studying, Angela undertook various temporary administration roles during the holidays, to provide her with varied office experience. This allowed her to gain experience in typing, audio typing, transcription, report writing, newsletters, research and administration. After completing her studies she worked in both the Personal Injury arena and in Legal Accounts. The latter encompassed solicitors accounts, banking, management reports, HR, payroll, IT, purchasing, stock control, letter & e-mail writing and practice administration. Angela is now the business manager and partner of 3 businesses: - 1) G & A James Business Services (www.gajames.co.uk) 2) G & A Speeches 3) The Gothic Works of Glenn James (www.gjamesgothicworks.com) These roles encompasses many aspects such as accounts, tax, editing, IT, website design, organising and attending events, sales, marketing, PR, photography, research, letter & e-mail writing, administration and providing advice. She is also a consultant of G & A James Business Services and so provides business services to the self-employed and small business owners. These services range from letter writing, typing and transcription to report writing, administration, research, poster/flyer design, proofreading and editing.
